Healing Dolls for Haiti
Nurses with a Mission is collaborating with Chi Chi Amor, www.chichiamor.com, to make dolls for the CHILDREN of HAITI.

Our goal is to reconnect with the age-old traditions of dollmaking, sewing circles and storytelling as a healing process. |

We believe that the path to healing and wellness lies in the appreciation of beauty as expressed in our creativity. We incorporate cultural flavors of the community that the dolls will serve and allow the spirit to take over in the dollmaking process. There are no rules, only ideas!
We want to deliver dolls from our workshops to children all over the world, starting in our own backyard.
We are creating a documentary of the path of the dolls from the beginning, following through to the arms of a child. We plan to attract doll artists to design dolls for fundraising auctions and to have the dolls displayed in public places to promote awareness. We seek to inspire others to get involved in this wonderful project. This is just the beginning.
